Edition 2025 — 700 Years Kattendorf
In 2025, the normal club year took place in Kattendorf with a spring festival, summer festival, and harvest festival (Erntedank) — a dress rehearsal for the big 700th anniversary in 2026. The associations and the municipality used the year to prepare logistics, stage technology, and the parade concept for the 2026 anniversary celebration.
Looking Back at 2025
2025 was a year of preparation for the municipality of Kattendorf. While the regular club festivals — spring market, TSV summer festival, church community's harvest festival — took place as usual, the municipal council and association boards worked behind the scenes on the concept for the major 2026 anniversary. Research into village history, coordination of the parade, stage setup — preparations for "Kattendorf turns 700 years" were ongoing throughout the year.
