Overview
The 2025 edition of the Kartoffelfest took place on the last weekend of September at Miermanns Scheune. Families from Bottrop, Gladbeck, Essen, and the northern Münsterland flocked to Scheideweg for both days. The potato culinary offerings and the farm setting proved to be a magnet once again.
In 2025, the festival attracted several thousand visitors to the farm. The Reibekuchen stands were busy around lunchtime, and the potato sales fully utilized the harvest season. inkirchhellen.de and the Bottroper Zeitung documented the event. The Bottroper Zeitung announced the continuation on September 26/27 as early as the beginning of 2026.
