Overview
In 2025, Domäne Dahlem once again invited visitors to the potato harvest. With hand sieves, visitors personally harvested organic potatoes from the fields, roasted them at the potato bonfire in the Hofesche, or prepared potato chips at the snack stations. Historical agricultural machines from the depot barn, music, arts and crafts, and a family program complemented the event. The Potato Festival has long been considered one of Berlin's most unusual and popular family festivals, making the city's last farm accessible once a year.
The 2025 edition confirmed the proven format: two days of harvest participation at the Domäne, organic potatoes from the fields, potato bonfire in the Hofesche, historical agricultural machines, music, arts and crafts, and a family program. With direct access to the U3 (Dahlem-Dorf in 100 m), the festival remains one of Berlin's most relaxed family weekend programs — a city-country connection in a form that only Berlin, with its last inner-city farm, can offer.
