Overview

The 2025 Amelsbüren carnival parade took place on Tulip Sunday with the usual family program from AKG Emmerbachgeister. Float groups, walking groups, and music bands paraded through the Münster district — thousands of carnival-goers and families from Amelsbüren and the surrounding area celebrated the traditional highlight of the Münsterland carnival season.

In 2025, the AKG Emmerbachgeister continued their tradition and organized the carnival weekend in Amelsbüren with their usual family-focused program. The main parade on Tulip Sunday, preceded by children's carnival, followed by an over-18s party in the festival tent, and a fish meal on Ash Wednesday. One of the most well-known Münsterland carnival formats, it transforms the district into a village carnival hotspot in southern Münster.
