Edition 2025 — Kanonenfest

In 2025, the Upper Franconian band Kanonenfieber announced their first own festival, the Kanonenfest, for March 2026 in their hometown of Bamberg. No festival edition took place in 2025; the year was dedicated to the preparation and marketing of the premiere at the Brose Arena.

In 2025, the band Kanonenfieber announced the premiere of their own metal festival: The Kanonenfest was scheduled to take place in 2026 at the Brose Arena in Bamberg, Upper Franconia. No standalone festival edition occurred in 2025.

The year was used for the announcement, the reveal of the lineup, and the start of advance ticket sales. The strong response – including sold-out hard ticket contingents – already underscored the anticipation for the festival's premiere in 2026 prior to the event.
