Overview

The 27th KAMUNA took place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 — as always on the first Saturday in August. 18 Karlsruhe museums and cultural institutions opened their doors for six hours, a KAMUNA ticket granted access to all, and a free shuttle connected the locations. Thousands of visitors from Karlsruhe and the region experienced a night full of art, science, and performance.

KAMUNA 2025

The 27th KAMUNA offered a dense cultural program in 18 Karlsruhe venues on Saturday, August 2, 2025. From 6 PM to midnight, the doors were open — ZKM, Staatliche Kunsthalle, Natural History Museum, Badisches Landesmuseum, Stadtmuseum, and 13 other institutions presented special programs focused on the summer theme.

The classic among Karlsruhe's cultural events ran smoothly again in 2025: one ticket for all venues, free shuttle, interactive program planner on the website, and a dedicated "JUNGE KAMUNA" special program for the younger generation. Karlsruhe once again demonstrated why it is one of the most densely programmed museum cities in Southern Germany.
