Overview

In 2025, Kampen once again hosted its Christmas market in the Kaamp-Hüs on the second weekend of Advent. Three days of thatched-roof ambiance, mulled wine, Futjes, and Sylt Christmas traditions — one of the most atmospheric small Advent markets on the island.

The 2025 edition followed the established format of the second Advent weekend (December 5–7). In the historic Kaamp-Hüs at Hauptstraße 12, Sylt artists, craftspeople, and small manufacturers exhibited their products. Outside, mulled wine and punch warmed visitors, while inside there were readings, concerts by the Sylt Shanty Choir, and activities for children.

As always, many visitors combined the market with a multi-day stay on the island and visits to other Sylt Christmas markets in Westerland, Wenningstedt, List, and Keitum.
