Overview

The Kaiserstühler Kirschenfest 2025 took place at the end of May 2025 in Königschaffhausen. Four days of marquee program with live music, Kaiserstuhl wine, and cherry specialties, as well as the traditional festival parade on Sunday, marked the weekend in one of Germany's most important cherry-growing regions.

The 2025 edition attracted thousands of visitors from the Kaiserstuhl, Markgräflerland, Alsace, and Switzerland. The crowning of the Cherry Queen and her princesses, the marquee with live music, the festival parade on Sunday — all the proven elements of the festival went as usual.

2025 was also a year of preparation for the 100th anniversary of the Königschaffhausen Music Association, which will be prominently featured in the festival parade in 2026. The combination of cherry tradition, musical culture, and community life makes the Kirschenfest one of the most defining events on the Kaiserstuhl.
