Overview

In 2025, Köpenick Palace Island was once again transformed into a festival stage: live music, a regional organic market, arts and crafts stalls, a petting zoo, and a family programme offered a classic Berlin city festival by the water. Admission was free.

The Köpenick Summer Festival 2025 continued the tradition of summer city festivals cherished in Köpenick. For three days, stalls, stages, food trucks, and family activities filled the Palace Island and the immediate area around the palace square. As in previous years, the mix of cultural events, a regional organic market, and an accessible children's programme proved successful.

The Treptow-Köpenick district once again used the festival to showcase the Palace Island and the historic old town to both Berliners and tourists. Those who attended the festival in 2025 often combined browsing the stalls with a walk along the Frauentog, a visit to the palace, or a boat trip on the Dahme.
