Juggling Festival at Zitadelle Spandau — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition adhered to the established format: two full days of performances, a curated program with professional acts, and a compact weekend running parallel to the larger Gauklerspiel. Both events complement each other — the Gauklerspiel with its focus on medieval markets, and the Juggling Festival with its focused performance program.

The Zitadelle Spandau thus confirms its role as a culturally active site. While the fortress itself functions as a museum during the day, it becomes a stage for Berlin and regional artists on festival days like these. Spandau residents appreciate the format — Spandau is the only Berlin district that actively presents itself as a city with its own historical identity.
