Edition 2025 — Anniversary Festival Durlangen 2026
In 2025, the Gesang- und Musikverein Concordia Durlangen and the Musikverein Zimmerbach still had a normal club year on their program — without a major joint anniversary festival, but with the traditional summer events and performances in the Ostalb community. Preparations for the big double anniversary in 2026 (125 years GMV + 100 years MV Zimmerbach) were already in full swing in 2025, and the concept for the anniversary festival was presented in October 2025.
Preparation Year 2025
The year 2025 was primarily a year of preparation for the two Durlangen associations — the Gesang- und Musikverein Concordia and the Musikverein Zimmerbach. The conception and organization of the major double anniversary in 2026 were the focus of the club's work, while traditional summer events and concert performances in and around Durlangen continued.
In October 2025, both associations, together with the municipality of Durlangen, presented the concept for the anniversary festival under the motto “1 Municipality — 2 Associations — 3 Days of Festival.” The official presentation on durlangen.de marked the start of concrete preparations for the festival weekend in June 2026.
