Overview
In 2025, the municipality of Kirchendemenreuth again lit its traditional Johannisfeuer during the summer season. The midsummer bonfire has been a regular fixture in the municipality's event calendar for years.
The 2025 edition of the Johannisfeuer followed the usual format: setup in the morning, catering by local clubs from late afternoon, lighting of the bonfire after dusk. The festival is part of the customs of the northern Oberpfalz and has been maintained in the Haberland region around Kirchendemenreuth for decades.
As in subsequent years, the date was officially announced via the municipality's event calendar. Free admission.
