31st JFBB — six days of Jewish cinema, on both sides of the city limits

In May 2025, the JFBB gathered the Jewish film landscape in Berlin and Brandenburg for the 31st time. Over sixty feature, documentary, and short films from more than twenty countries were shown in competitions and thematic series. Film discussions with international directors, actors, and producers accompanied the screenings. The Berlin arthouse cinemas Filmkunst 66 (Charlottenburg), Moviemento (Kreuzberg), Bundesplatz-Kino (Wilmersdorf), and Kino Krokodil (Prenzlauer Berg), along with Potsdam's Thalia and Filmmuseum Potsdam, formed the festival network. The JFBB thus remained the only festival of its kind in the capital region and an important resonance space for Jewish film culture in Germany.
