Overview
The 2025 edition of JECK EN DE CITY once again brought the stars of Rhenish Carnival music to the "Zum alten Schacht" festival grounds in Hückelhoven. Thousands of visitors experienced an open-air day with two stages, Cologne classics, and Après-Ski atmosphere — solidifying the festival's reputation as a summer Carnival highlight in the Heinsberg district.
In 2025, the concept again focused on two stages: Jeck-Stage with Cologne Carnival greats and Après-Ski-Hütte with Schlager music. The industrial setting of the former Sophia-Jacoba mine site provided a unique backdrop for the festival.
The high demand led once again to a quick sell-out of regular tickets. JECK EN DE CITY thus firmly established itself as the Rhineland's summer Carnival festival — an extraordinary expansion of the traditional season dates.
