The Frauenstein market 2025 took place on Ascension Day, May 29, at the castle ruins — as in previous years with market stalls, antique and flea market, showmen, and live music in the morning and afternoon. The Frauenstein shops exceptionally opened on the public holiday afternoon.

2025 Edition

As for generations, the 2025 Ascension Day market attracted numerous visitors from the Erzgebirge and nearby Czech Republic to the Frauenstein castle ruins. Dealers, junk dealers, showmen, and caterers provided a varied offering; the brass band of the volunteer fire department and a live duo in the afternoon accompanied the market activities musically. The shops on the market square opened on the public holiday afternoon — an appreciated tradition that draws many additional visitors to the Silbermann town.
