Jahninselfest Regensburg — Edition 2025

In 2025, the Jahninselfest continued its tradition as an alternative open-air festival in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Regensburg. The atmosphere — a concert directly beneath the Steinerne Brücke, with the Danube flowing in the background — remains the unique characteristic of the event. The lineup, as always, mixed regional bands from Regensburg and Bavaria with national acts from the German indie and punk scene.

The festival is one of the most important alternative concert stages in Eastern Bavaria — alongside Bandsalat (Ingolstadt), Honky Tonk Festival (Augsburg), and Beuther Bandcontest. The Scants of Grace association has been running the festival for over a decade, financing it entirely through ticket sales and sponsors, without any commercial entities behind it.
