Overview

In 2025, Kelheim's old town once again transformed into a southern piazza during the Italienische Nacht. With a Vespa parade, fashion show, live music on Ludwigsplatz and Alter Markt, and shops open until 10 p.m., the evening traditionally marked the festive prelude to the 24-hour cycling race.

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: From 6 p.m., the Vespa parade and the rolling in of the RSC youth, followed at 7 p.m. by a fashion show with Mediterranean flair, live music with Il Duo on Ludwigsplatz and Quartetto Amaretto on Alter Markt, plus Italian specialties and drinks. Kelheim's shops invited to a shopping night until 10 p.m. As every year, the Italienische Nacht set the mood for the subsequent 24-hour cycling race and attracted visitors from the entire Altmühltal-Donau-Hallertau region.
