Isnyer Kinder- und Heimatfest 2025

In July 2025, the entire town gathered again at the Festplatz am Rain. Four festival days at the traditional location, where celebrations have been held for almost 400 years — a continuity that few Volksfeste in Germany can claim. On Festival Sunday, the Kinderfesttrommler marched through the town centre at 5 AM, and the grand parade at 2 PM brought together heritage associations, traditional costume wearers, and music bands from the Württemberg Allgäu.

As every year, the festival concluded on Monday evening at the Adolf-Wälder-Stadion with the atmospheric hot air balloon launch, a hallmark of the festival — generations of Isny residents associate this moment with their childhood and youth memories of the Kinder- und Heimatfest.
