37 Years of Irish Heartbeat — A German Tour Tradition

The Irish Heartbeat Festival is an institution for all friends of Irish and Celtic music in Germany. For 37 years, the tour has travelled the country annually with a changing lineup, making stops in selected clubs and cultural centres. The selection of acts is always a mix of established stars from the folk scene and promising younger talents. This makes the festival not just a concert evening, but also a curated journey through the current Celtic musical landscape of Europe.

Three Acts for St. Patrick's Day

The Wilhelmshaven edition on March 12, 2026 — a few days before St. Patrick's Day itself — features three very different voices. Yann Honoré brings the Breton folk tradition to Wilhelmshaven with his multi-instrumentarium — a Celtic music tradition closely related to Irish music. Billow Wood & The Woodies represent the modern folk-singer-songwriter style. The Eva Coyle Band rounds off the evening with Irish folk and trad music in a full band setup.

St. Patrick's Day at Pumpwerk

The Pumpwerk cultural centre in Wilhelmshaven offers the intimate atmosphere ideal for folk concerts. With around 450 seats, the hall is large enough for a festive mood and small enough to give the artists the necessary space for personal interaction. The St. Patrick's Day character is also reflected in the bar: Guinness and whiskey are naturally part of the offerings. An evening for folk enthusiasts, Celtic lovers, and anyone who wants to celebrate an early St. Patrick's Day.

Irish Heartbeat WHV — edition 2026

Tickets from €36.20.

2026 Edition

The 2026 tour edition features Yann Honoré, bringing a Breton artist into the main lineup for the first time. The connection between Breton and Irish folk tradition makes the programme particularly interesting for fans of Celtic music.
