Overview

The Iphöfer WeinZeit 2025 offered around 30 tasting evenings in the historic old town of the wine town of Iphofen from May to July. Wineries and serving points were open on Fridays to Sundays and on three public holidays, each from 5 PM to 10 PM, for tasting Franconian wines.

The 2025 edition of the Iphöfer WeinZeit confirmed its format as one of the most successful wine tourism components in the Kitzingen district. Between May and July 2025, wine lovers from Lower Franconia, the state of Bavaria, and all over Germany flocked to the medieval old town of Iphofen.

The participating Iphofen wineries served Silvaner, Bacchus, Müller-Thurgau, Spätburgunder, and other Franconian wine specialties. In the courtyards and public squares, a relaxed summer atmosphere prevailed in the evenings, complemented by regional "Brotzeiten" (snack plates) and small culinary specialties from Iphofen's gastronomy.
