Edition 2025 — Wolfegger Konzerte
The 35th edition of the Internationale Wolfegger Konzerte took place at the end of June 2025 with the established concept of a prize winners' concert, an orchestral evening, and a church concert in the three historic venues. Manfred Honeck once again curated the program with a focus on the connection between established soloists and young talents from the international classical scene.
35th Edition 2025 — Solid Foundation for the Anniversary
The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's high musical quality. Three concerts were held in the Alte Pfarr, the Rittersaal, and St. Katharina, each to a sold-out audience. The audience comes from afar — regulars from Stuttgart, Munich, Zurich, and Vienna share seats with the regional classical audience from Ravensburg, Wangen, and Lindau.
Honeck's 2025 program design combined Eastern European classical music with British Romanticism — a line that the maestro also cultivates with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in US concert programming. The Freundeskreis Wolfegger Konzerte e.V. uses the annual festival to finance talent development — young musicians are directly supported from the funding pool.
