Overview

The 29th edition of the International Solo Dance Theater Festival Stuttgart took place in March 2025 at the Treffpunkt Rotebühlplatz. International choreographers from over ten countries presented their solos, and the international jury awarded prizes to young choreographers and established artists.

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's reputation as Europe's most important platform for solo performance. Over five days, selected choreographers from Asia, Africa, America, and Europe showcased their pieces to an expert jury and a loyal audience.

The winners then embarked on an international tour, organized by partner institutions in Spain, Italy, Brazil, and Israel — a well-established career platform for the contemporary dance scene.
