The 59th International Hofer Film Days took place from October 27 to November 2, 2025, supplemented by seven streaming days. 153 films and five VR experiences were shown in nine cinema halls. Around 15,500 cinema tickets were sold, plus 7,200 online views; approximately 820 accredited guests came to Hof.

The 59th edition of the Hofer Film Days ran from October 27 to November 2, 2025, with an additional streaming phase via HoF on Demand. 153 films and five VR experiences were shown in nine cinema halls with a total of 1,079 seats. Around 15,500 cinema tickets were sold over six days, plus around 7,200 online views and approximately 820 accredited guests.

Around €70,000 was awarded in twelve prizes, including the New German Cinema Sponsorship Award for Julia Roesler (LUISA) and the Gold Friedrich-Baur-Prize. Director Julia von Heinz was honored with a masterclass and retrospective. Nearly 200 volunteers supported the festival, which utilized new pop-up venues after the closure of the Scala cinema.
