Intercultural Neighbourhood Festival Spandau

Prior to the 7th edition in 2026, the Intercultural Neighbourhood Festival Spandau already took place in its usual format in 2025. On the grounds of the Evangelical Church Community in northern Spandau at Wichernstraße, several hundred visitors gathered for the stage programme, hands-on workshops, and an international buffet. The Berliner Stadtmission's "Learning by doing" accompanying programme, as the organiser, was able to make the neighbourhood work of previous years visible and confirmed the festival as a reliable spring event in the district.

The patronage of the district administration and the participation of local associations once again shaped the character of a festival that focuses more on encounters than on show. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 7th edition on May 9, 2026.
