Overview

The Intercultural City Festival Friedrichshafen 2025 gathered thousands of visitors along the lakeside promenade. The participating communities — from Turkish to Italian, Vietnamese, Indian, Eritrean, Syrian, to Latin American — offered culinary and cultural contributions on one of the most beautiful promenades on Lake Constance.

2025 Festival Review

The city festival in 2025 took place on the first weekend of July and utilized the entire lakeside promenade of Friedrichshafen — from Schlossplatz to the harbor train station. The stage alternated between folklore groups, local music associations, and international pop and dance formations. The food stalls brought together the communities based in Friedrichshafen, from Turkish family businesses to Eritrean women's cooperatives.

The sports and games areas, where Friedrichshafen sports clubs offered small tournaments for children, youth, and adults, were particularly well-attended. On Saturday evening, the dance stage took over with DJ sets, and on Sunday, the "Frühschoppen" (morning pint) rounded off the weekend. The festival asserts itself as one of the most important intercultural summer events on Lake Constance.
