The premiere of Inselfest in 2025 attracted over 55,000 visitors to Museum Island – the start of the "200 Years of Museum Island" anniversary program.

The first edition of Inselfest in May/June 2025 marked the official start of the "200 Years of Museum Island" anniversary program. More than 55,000 visitors came over the weekend for concerts, guided tours, and workshops in all Museum Island houses.

The success of this premiere led directly to its continuation in 2026, the actual anniversary year.
