Edition 2025 — InselChaos
The premiere of InselChaos 2025 took place on the grounds of La Grange e.V. in Bergen auf Rügen – the first hacker and cultural festival of the North German Chaos Community in the style of a small Chaos Camp on the Baltic Sea. Organized by Port39 e.V. from Stralsund.
A Successful Premiere
With InselChaos 2025, Port39 e.V. has established a format that was previously missing in the North German Chaos scene: its own summer camp on the Baltic Sea, without the size and anonymity of the well-known major Chaos events. On the grounds of La Grange e.V. in Bergen auf Rügen, hackers, developers, activists, and creatives met for an extended weekend full of talks, workshops, concerts, and informal exchange.
The premiere was so well-attended that the organizers immediately confirmed the format for 2026. The mix of island scenery, club grounds, and Chaos Community spirit shaped the festival's character – and will also carry the second edition.
