Overview

The 2025 Island Christmas on Mirow Castle Island, like in previous years, featured an Advent market between the castle and the manor house with performances by the Ernst Heiter puppet theatre in the festival hall and harp music by Merit Zloch. The castle museum was open. Organisers: Town of Mirow and State Palaces, Gardens and Art Collections MV.

The 2025 Island Christmas transformed Mirow Castle Island into an Advent market between the baroque castle and the manor house during the first Advent weekend. Colourful stalls offered regional arts and crafts and culinary delights – stollen, mulled wine, bratwurst, and Mecklenburg specialities.

In the castle's festival hall, the Ernst Heiter puppet theatre presented two performances of "New Mirow Castle Stories" at 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Harpist Merit Zloch provided musical accompaniment for the day. The castle museum was open during the market day. Organisers were the town of Mirow and the State Palaces, Gardens and Art Collections MV.
