Edition 2025 — Insects and Spiders
The 2025 edition of the Insects and Spiders OpenAir took place on the forest stage in Börnichen Castle Park — integrated into the program of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. Two stages, Indie rock, newcomer pop, world music, electronic music, and the traditional Saturday family afternoon once again characterized the festival with free admission.
Insects and Spiders 2025
The 2025 edition benefited from the region of Chemnitz's status as European Capital of Culture and was able to offer an expanded program and additional funding. Regional and national bands from Indie rock, pop, world music, and electronic genres performed on the historic forest stage in Börnichen Castle Park.
The proven concept of "Free admission, camping, and parking" was maintained, making the festival once again one of the most accessible open-airs on the Saxon summer festival calendar.
