Hoffest at Weingut Arndt F. Werner as part of the Ingelheim Wine Estate Festivals 2026 in the Red Wine Town on the Rhine
Ingelheim am Rhein, located in the heart of Rheinhessen on the right bank of the Rhine opposite the Rheingau, is known as the Red Wine Town. Today, a number of family-run wineries uphold this tradition, participating in the popular series of Ingelheim Wine Estate Festivals.
Weingut Arndt F. Werner is part of this tradition. With a Hoffest from June 26th to 28th, 2026, the winegrowing family opens its courtyard gate to visitors, creating a convivial meeting point in the center of Ingelheim for three days. The concept of the Wine Estate Festivals is refreshingly simple and thus incredibly successful: open courtyards, wines from the producer, regional culinary delights, personal contact.
In the winery's courtyard, the current vintage wines will be served: Ingelheim's wine repertoire with a focus on red wine. Pinot Noir, Frühburgunder, and cuvées form the core, complemented by fresh white wines such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Müller-Thurgau, as well as rosés. The wines are served in tasting glasses, and a wine token system simplifies payment.
The culinary offerings include typical Rhenish-Hessian dishes: Spundekäs (a creamy cheese dip), Handkäs mit Musik (marinated cheese with onions), Bratwurst, steaks, homemade salads, cheese platters, Flammkuchen (flatbread pizza), and depending on the weekend, specialities from the winegrowing family. Courtyard atmosphere, beer benches under the open sky, fairy lights in the evening.
Conviviality is at the heart of it all. Guests sit at communal tables, strike up conversations, meet the winegrowing family, and learn about the wines firsthand. Moderate musical accompaniment – mostly acoustic – creates the right ambiance. The Hoffest at Weingut Arndt F. Werner is part of a series of Ingelheim Wine Estate Festivals, which take place over several weekends from May to August.
The 2026 edition follows the proven concept of the Ingelheim Estate Festivals: open doors, wines from the producer, courtyard atmosphere, regional specialties, and personal encounters.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by Weingut Arndt F. Werner in due course. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years.
