Overview
In 2025, the industrial culture hike with miner's breakfast was also offered several times. Guided by historian Dr. Frank Hirsch, followed by a miner's breakfast in the beer garden of the Rechtsschutzsaal Bildstock.
The 2025 hikes followed the established format: 7 kilometers around the Rechtsschutzsaal Bildstock, past the subsidence pond, over the spoil heap to the former Reden colliery, and back through the forest. Dr. Frank Hirsch explained the mining history of the Saar region along the way, and the day concluded with the miner's breakfast.
Programme
Three hikes in May, June, and September 2025, each on a Saturday at 10 a.m. from Kleiner Marktplatz Bildstock, with a miner's breakfast afterwards.
