The Ilsfelder Holzmarkt 2025 took place as usual on the last weekend of August, reaffirming its role as the most important market in the Heilbronn district north of the federal highway. Four days of market, festival tent program with oompah bands, Trachten-Kirchweih with a parade on Sunday, and thousands of visitors from the wider region thronged Marktstraße and the festival grounds around the Steinbeisschulzentrum. 504 years of market tradition were continued.

2025 — 504th Holzmarkt in Ilsfeld

In 2025, the Ilsfelder Holzmarkt took place for the 504th time since its first documented mention in 1521. As every year, hundreds of stalls filled Marktstraße and the festival grounds, the festival tent was fully occupied on the main evenings, and the Trachten-Kirchweih on Sunday drew the connection between the market and the church community with a parade and church consecration service. The mix of historic wood market character, classic craft market, Swabian festival tent, and ecclesiastical-folk tradition makes the Ilsfeld market so appealing.
