The 45th edition of the Ilmenau Christmas Market took place in December 2025 on the festively decorated Lindenstraße. Four days of Advent market with arts and crafts, organic products, regional specialties, and a varied stage program characterized the weekend in the Goethe and University City.
Ilmenau 2025 — Relaxed City Center Advent
In December 2025, Ilmenau invited visitors to its 45th Christmas Market on Lindenstraße. Stalls with arts and crafts and organic products lined the shopping street, a stage program with regional musicians and artists accompanied the market, and a visit from Santa Claus was part of the regular program. The compact market area in the city center made the market a cozy alternative to the region's large Advent markets in 2025 as well.
