Overview

The 47th Ihringen Wine Days 2025 continued the almost five-decade-old tradition on the Kaiserstuhl. In the historic courtyards and alleys, Ihringen vintners poured their Kaiserstuhl wines; the Bavarian Frühschoppen and Vintner Olympics on Saturday shaped the program — a highlight in the event calendar of Germany's warmest municipality.

Wine Days 2025

The 47th Ihringen Wine Days 2025 took place, as is traditional, on the Pentecost weekend. For four days, the Ihringen vintners opened their courtyards and alleys for wine tasting. The focus was on the famous Pinot Noir from the Kaiserstuhl — wines regarded with respect by colleagues and competitors in Burgundy and Alsace — as well as Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Müller-Thurgau.

As in previous years, Kaiserstuhl Touristik e.V. was the organizer. The public transport connection with the S-Bahn directly to the festival grounds makes the Ihringen Wine Days one of the most accessible wine festivals in Southern Baden and attracts thousands of day-trippers from Freiburg, the entire Upper Rhine Plain, and neighboring Switzerland every year.
