Already in the 2025 season, the Arber Stadium at Großer Arbersee was the venue for international biathlon competitions of the IBU Cup. The established competition site in the Bavarian Forest was thus preparing for the 2026 Junior World Championships.

The ARBER Hohenzollern Biathlon Stadium regularly hosts IBU Cup races, the second-highest international biathlon series. In 2025, international athletes competed here, utilizing the challenging course at an altitude of around 950 meters – an ideal dress rehearsal for the following year's Junior World Championships.
