Overview
The Husumer Krabbentage 2025 took place as usual in October at the harbor, Hafenstraße, and the market square. Crab cooking shows, the crab peeling championship, a market with numerous exhibitors, and a Sunday with open shops attracted thousands to the North Frisian district capital – one of the most important autumn folk festivals on the North Sea coast.

In 2025, Husum harbor once again transformed into a large crab market for a weekend. Around 60 exhibitors, a stage program, show cooking, a crab peeling competition, and a Sunday with open shops characterized the event. As every year, crab cutters delivered fresh North Sea shrimp directly from the ship.
The Krabbentage are among the most traditional town festivals in North Frisia and are the highlight of Husum's autumn tourism high season every year.
