Overview
The Hüsten Funfair 2025 ran for five days in mid-September on the Riggenweide – the largest folk festival in the Sauerland region with around 300,000 visitors. Rides, beer tents, livestock market on Monday, and closing fireworks on Tuesday evening characterized the program as always. The traditional auction of hand-carved wooden cones and the Hüsten Funfair song remained part of the regular program. A format that continues into the next edition in 2026.
Hüsten Funfair 2025
In 2025, the Riggenweide once again transformed into the largest folk festival in the Sauerland region for five days. The classics characterized the program: eight large rides, three beer tents, livestock market on Monday, and closing fireworks on Tuesday evening around 10:15 PM. Thousands of families and guests from all over the Sauerland celebrated the traditional season finale.
