Edition 2025 — 530 Years of Culture Hügelsheim
2025 was a year of preparation for the four Hügelsheim cultural associations. The Church Choir, Singing Association, Music Association, and HCC organized themselves jointly for the grand anniversary festival in 2026. The associations continued to hold their regular concerts, performances, and carnival events, but without their own major festival, to pool resources for the joint 530-year weekend the following year.
The anniversary weekend "530 Years of Culture" is a unique event in 2026. 2025 served as a preparation year in Hügelsheim: the four anniversary associations (Church Choir, Singing Association, Music Association, HCC Carneval Club) maintained their regular activities — church and concert performances, carnival sessions, association evenings — but coordinated intensively for the joint anniversary celebration. A major festival was postponed in 2025 in favor of the large-scale event in 2026. Preparations for the parade, ceremony, and program have been underway since early 2025 under the umbrella of the joint platform 530jahre.de.
