Overview

From July 25 to August 29, 2025, the Honigfabrik in Wilhelmsburg opened its courtyard for open-air cinema on Fridays. International films in their original version with German subtitles, admission donation-based — one of the most beautiful summer series in southern Hamburg. The opening film was "QUEENS", a road movie from Morocco.

The 2025 series ran for six weeks. Doors opened every Friday at 8:30 PM, film started at 9:30 PM. The programme included international films of all genres — from coming-of-age stories to comedies, dramas, and adventure films — with thematic focuses on nature, trans identity, diaspora, and modern female roles.

The opening on July 25 featured the Moroccan road movie "QUEENS". On August 1, "Hunt for the Wilderpeople", a New Zealand adventure comedy, was shown. The series is a member of STADTKULTUR HAMBURG and is organised by Kulturzentrum Honigfabrik e.V.
