Holunderfest Ammerndorf

The 2025 edition continued the tradition of the Ammerndorf Holunderfest. On the first weekend of June, the Dreschmaschinenhaus transformed into a meeting point for elderflower enthusiasts from the entire region.

As every year, long queues formed for the freshly baked Hollerküchle; these were accompanied by elderflower cake, elderflower liqueur and schnapps, elderflower cordial, and beer from the local brewery. The festival, supported by the Heimat- und Gartenbauverein, has long since grown into a major event in the District of Fürth. Admission was free.
