Review of Holsteiner Herbstmarkt 2025

The 2025 edition brought 160 carefully selected exhibitors to Gut Emkendorf – including goldsmiths, fashion designers, ceramicists, nurseries, and manufacturers of North German specialties. For three days, the classicist estate transformed into a colorful market street, nestled in the typical Holstein hilly landscape of the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district.

The daily guided tours of the historic manor house at 1 PM and 2 PM offered visitors cultural insights: In the 18th and 19th centuries, the estate was a meeting place for educated North German society and hosted guests like Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock. The market admission of €9 and the supplementary tour tickets (€5) were well-received by the public.
