Overview

Before being renamed PARK Erlebnis, the event was still held under the old name “Hohenlohe Genießerdorf” in the Hofgarten Öhringen in 2025. Even in its predecessor version, enjoyment, arts and crafts, and gardens were the focus — over three or four days with exhibitors, tastings, and a cultural program. The city of Öhringen decided in 2025/2026 to revise the format and give it a clearer profile with thematic days.

Genießerdorf 2025 — The Transition

The 2025 edition was the last under the old format. The city of Öhringen evaluated the concept in autumn 2025 and decided to respond with a new edition and thematic differentiation. Although the Genießerdorf was established, it had lost some of its profile — many visitors found it to be a “simple market with a garden focus”.

With the PARK Erlebnis 2026, the format is intended to become sharper again: four theme days, clearer content, targeted audience approach (Baroque enthusiasts, picnic lovers, cooking enthusiasts, families). The response to the renaming was positive — the regional press reported extensively on the plans in the Hofgarten.
