Overview
The 2nd edition of the Hohenlimburger Lennelauf 2025 established the format as a fixed date in the Hagen Running Cup. Distances of 5.4 and 10.8 km, a walking option, and a children's run for younger generations. Organizer Elseyer Turnverein 1881 attracted Hagen fun runners and guests from southern Westphalia to Lennepark.
The 2025 Lennelauf continued the trend started in 2024: a young but well-designed fun run with a clear profile — a flat asphalt course along the river, multiple distances for different training levels, and an integrated children's run. The Elseyer Turnverein 1881, one of the oldest sports clubs in southern Hagen, filled a gap in the Hagen running calendar with this format. The ranking in the Hagen Running Cup brought cup collectors from several Hagen districts to the Lenne.
