Overview

The second edition of the Hohenbusch Art and Culture Festival took place again in 2025 at the historic Haus Hohenbusch in Erkelenz. With a vernissage, concerts of various genres, children's workshops, and readings, the format further established itself as an annual cultural highlight in western Rhineland.

The 2025 edition continued the format initiated by Kultur GmbH Erkelenz and the Förderverein Haus Hohenbusch from the premiere. Over two days, regional and international artists presented painting, sculpture, installation, and photography. In front of the manor house and under the coach house, a stage program with folk, blues, and jazz took place.

The festival thus further established itself as the most important cultural weekend for the city of around 45,000 inhabitants in the Heinsberg district. The mix of art vernissage, stage program, and family activities appealed to the taste of the Erkelenz cultural audience.
