Overview
From June 27 to 29, 2025, the HOEG CitySommerFest transformed Bremen's city center into a festival mile with six venues and four stages, spread across the Marktplatz, Domshof, and other locations. Over 40 acts offered live music, culture, literature, and culinary delights with free admission.
New in 2025 was that on Sunday, in addition to the Marktplatz, the Domshof also featured musical performances. Slackliners crossed the Marktplatz and Domshof at dizzying heights, with a freestyle competition right before the main acts. In the Schnoorviertel, regional authors gave readings, and at the Hanseatenhof, there was live street art and a graffiti contest. The stages opened on Friday and Saturday from 1:30 PM, and on Sunday from 12:45 PM.
