HitDORFFEST — Hitdorf Summer Festival

The HitDORFFEST 2025 was held, as in previous years, by the civic association Leben in Hitdorf e.V. on the fairground in Leverkusen-Hitdorf. Three days on the last weekend of August: opening on Friday evening, main festival day on Saturday with an extensive stage programme, family day and Frühschoppen on Sunday.

Live music from the Rhineland — cover bands, local singer/songwriters, and acts with a Carnival influence — characterised the musical programme. Food trucks and snack stands offered Rhenish classics: Reibekuchen, Bratwurst, fries, along with Kölsch on tap, mineral water, and cocktails. Several hundred visitors from Hitdorf, the surrounding Leverkusen districts of Rheindorf, Wiesdorf, and Manfort, as well as from Düsseldorf-Hassel (arriving via the Hitdorf ferry) enlivened the fairground on all three days — a proven template for the 2026 edition.
