Town Festival 2025 Review

On September 6th and 7th, 2025, the Historic Town Festival once again transformed Dinkelsbühl's old town into a stage for past centuries. Citizens of the town, guest groups from Southern Germany, and reenactment associations showcased camp life, combat demonstrations, and crafts. The Stadtkapelle and Knabenkapelle provided musical highlights, while Franconian specialties like Hitzplootz, Ofenschlupfer, and spelt pastries satisfied visitors.

The town festival confirmed its status as one of the most impressive historical festivals on the Romantic Road – free admission, no obligation to purchase, the city as a stage.
