Overview
From October 17 to November 2, 2025, the Historischer Markt zu Bremen transformed the Old Town between the Liebfrauenkirche and the Town Hall into a medieval market world. It was already the 35th time the traditional market took place at Schoppensteel.
Guild masters demonstrated their crafts, including a leatherworker with goods ranging from shoelaces to purses. Alongside fresh potato pancakes and bratwurst, there was pan-fried salmon and fresh pretzels; in the tavern at Schoppensteel, mead and hot mulled wine warmed visitors. The 2025 edition continued the decades-long tradition of the market in the historic Hanseatic city.
