Overview

The 211th edition of the Victory Festival Großbeeren took place from August 22 to 24, 2025, at the Old Manor Courtyard. Reenactment groups from Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic set up bivouacs; the major battle reenactment occurred on Saturday afternoon. In the historic traders' lane, blacksmiths, bakers, basket weavers, and sutlers showcased their crafts. Live music ranged from marches and folk to open-air concerts on stage.

In the summer of 2025, the Victory Festival once again drew thousands of visitors from Berlin and Brandenburg to Großbeeren. The first reenactment units arrived on Friday evening and set up their historic tents on the festival grounds. On Saturday, visitors could observe the soldiers in their camps — cleaning muskets, cooking over fires, repairing uniforms.

The highlight was the major battle reenactment on Saturday afternoon: over a hundred soldiers in original uniforms recreated key moments of the 1813 battle, accompanied by salutes and drum rolls. On Sunday, commemoration ceremonies were held at the memorial stones before the festival concluded around 6 PM.
