Overview
The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: historical market activities in the Britz manor courtyard, combined with the central apple variety exhibition and a dense stage program by the Cocolorus troupe. Those who came with their own apples from the garden had their variety identified by the pomologist – a service that draws queues every year. At the historical apple press, visitors could make their own juice.
For children, pony rides, the giant trampoline, archery, and stilt-walking workshops were among the regular attractions. Blacksmiths, leather craftsmen, and sellers of herbs and honey complemented the medieval market atmosphere. The baroque setting of the 18th-century castle gave the festival an unusual depth for a Berlin district festival.
